Critical aerospace and medical parts frequently require lengthy vacuum baking to remove volatile or residual contaminants. This consumes your budget, plus scheduling can be  frustrating. Liquid CO2 routinely drops process times from two or three days down to an hour while achieving equal or better NVR levels. Or perhaps you’re still using hazardous solvents like hexane for extraction or critical cleaning? Ask us for details or to have us process your parts.

enertia units are complete  liquid CO2 cleaning systems that include both cleaning and energy efficient recycling in a single compact unit.  High purity stainless steel cleaning modules are available as a top-loading basket centrifuge with fully automatic closure (CFx) or a front-loading tumbler (GFx) precision system.

Generous three tank system includes distillation, recirculating, filtered cleaning liquid and final rinse storage. PLC process controls with a graphical user interface are standard, as is the easy to load stainless steel parts baskets.  Custom cleaning baskets and fixtures can be developed to securely hold your parts for maximum cleaning efficiency.

Searching for a way to degrease precision machined parts without toxic or dangerous solvents?

• Fighting to maintain rinse water quality in aqueous cleaning systems?

• Buried by the paperwork for government compliance to avoid costly fines or shutdowns?

Many manufacturing processes require oils and lubes. Mix these with dust, chips and tramp oil and you’ve got parts that must be cleaned. But getting parts sparkling clean is tough when regulations outlaw solvents.

Sure, you’ve tried all sorts of water-based soaps, detergents and costly miracle cleaners, but now you need antifoam agents and skimmers, not to mention a virtual river of rinse water. Then you spend time and money blowing and baking them dry.

Liquid carbon dioxide is a pure, clean solvent that takes many films and oils into solution. Its near-zero viscosity penetrates the smallest crevices bringing cleaning power where it’s needed most. With our patented centrifugal shear process, contamination is rapidly stripped away. After a quick rinse with freshly distilled liquid CO2, your dry parts are ready to ship. They’re Clean…pure and simple.

CO2 cleaning requires no special permits even from the tough SCAQMD or EPA because it’s non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally neutral. On-board CO2 distillation recycles nearly 100% while separating full concentration oils for reuse after filtering out solids. When appropriate, environmentally friendly additives including soybean and corn-based products can be used as co-solvents.
